Kambi Group, an innovative sports betting technology provider and Rush Street Interactive (RSI) have agreed to renew their transatlantic sports betting partnership while exploring growth opportunities in new markets.
Stockholm-based sports betting technology provider Kambi has further solidified its position in the Americas market with an upgrade.
Kambi has been a leading provider of RSI betting solutions since 2018, supporting the NYSE Gaming Group’s launches in 15 states including New York, Pennsylvania, Illinois, Canada, Columbia and Mexico.
Kristian Nylén, Kambi CEO and Co-Founder, said: «RSI was the first US-based operator we partnered with post-PASPA, and it has been fantastic to witness RSI become one of the leading online gaming players in the Americas.
This contract extension ensures Kambi’s sportsbook will continue to complement RSI’s proprietary technology and platform, which together will provide the basis for even greater success in the future.»
The details of the agreement are that RSI will continue to use Kambi as a sports betting engine integrated into the NYSE gaming platform.
RSI aims to capitalize on what they achieved in 2022 by launching the aforementioned Mexican gaming space in July, although third quarter results announced in November were lower than those of online casinos, suggesting a slowdown in revenue.
Meanwhile, Kambi also looks to build on last year’s earnings and growth by ending the last two months of 2022 with two separate deals in Latin America.
The first deal was done with Puerto Rico-based Liberman Media in November, followed by a partnership with Brazil’s Rei do Pitaco (RDP) at the end of December. This is because the global gaming industry expects full regulation of gambling in the country.
