Portuguese superstar Cristiano Ronaldo is expected to receive a total of €400 million as he completes his move to Al Nassr.
Ronaldo will earn over €200m during his tenure at Al Nassr after agreeing to take on the role of World Cup ambassador.
Saudi Arabia plans to bid for hosting the 2030 FIFA World Cup and Ronaldo is expected to play a key role in the venture. Ronaldo’s salary will be around 200 million euros, which means the 37-year-old Ronaldo will earn an incredible sum during his time at the new club.
Ronaldo has already been introduced to Al Nassr in front of thousands of fans at Mrsool Park and now he is looking forward to his debut. The former Manchester United and Real Madrid star has already responded to criticism over his move after signing a lucrative contract that has made him the highest paid player in the history of the sport.
Al-Nassr club manager Rudy Garcia has confirmed that the Portuguese superstar will make his debut in Saudi football in an exhibition match against Paris Saint-Germain on January 19.
