The Georgian national volleyball team, in its debut at the European Women’s Under-17 Championship, defeated the hosts of the tournament, the Serbian national team, with a score of 3:2.
Georgia showed its strength by taking the upper hand in the first set with a score of 25:16. However, the opponents were not going to give up and managed to turn the tide of the game, winning the next two sets with scores of 25:18 and 25:14, respectively.
However, the Georgian national team won with a score of 25:21 in the fourth set and leveled the score, and ultimately won, taking the lead with a score of 15:9 in the fifth set.
In the next match Georgia will play with Bulgaria. The tournament, organized by Serbia and Hungary, will last until July 22.
