STS, for the first time among betting companies in Poland, has entered into a multilateral agreement with GKS Katowice, establishing a partnership with this sports club.
STS has become the official sponsor of all four sections of GKS GieKSa Katowice S.A., including the women’s football club, ice hockey champions, the volleyball section and the first league men’s football club GKS Katowice.
This cooperation is planned for one year, but both sides expressed their readiness to consider the possibility of its extension.
Pawel Rabantek, Marketing Director of STS, noted:
“As a trend-setting leader in the bookmaking industry, we have decided to get involved in a regional project such as the multi-section GKS Katowice.
“For us, cooperation with the multi-section GKS Katowice is another stage of the strategy, which has been successfully and extensively implemented for years, of supporting domestic sport, and in this case also local sport, because for many years STS has been inextricably linked precisely with Katowice, where our head office is located.
“We play together with the champions of Poland in their respective disciplines, which is a natural thing for STS as it coincides with our aspirations as the undisputed leader of the bookmaking market in Poland.”
STS will place its representative offices at the stadium location. Bukova, in the hall of the Szopenice Sports Center and at the Satelita skating rink.
The partnership will also see extensive digital integration, including social media, website and newsletters, and fan activation to ensure active engagement and support from fans.

“I believe that a sponsor with a nationwide footprint based in Katowice is a signal to everyone that GieKSa is ready for cooperation with large companies.”
In addition to GKS Katowice, the betting company also acts as a sponsor of the Polish national football team, the Polish champions Raków Częstochowa, as well as the clubs Korona Kielce, Jagiellonia Białystok, Zagłębie Lubin and Widzew Łódź.
