Following his appointment as CEO of 888 Holdings, Per Widerström, formerly a non-executive director at Catena Media, is stepping down from the company’s board of directors.
Wiederström was appointed to the Board of Directors in May 2019.
In this regard, investors have been informed that Catena will retain six directors until the company’s AGM in 2024.
Catena continues to liquidate its media portfolio and has signed an agreement to sell its UK and Australian betting assets to Moneta Communications for €6m.
The proceeds from the sale were used to reduce corporate debt. The Board of Directors of Catena continues to consider all strategic options, including the complete sale of the business.
