4H Agency provided official comments to SBC CIS journalists on the recent amendments to the Ukrainian Tax Code with regards to the taxation of online casino.
Dmitry Hotsyn, Senior Consultant at 4H Agency, emphasized important aspects of the situation: «When it comes to online casinos, the amendments proposed by the members of the Parliament, eliminated certain inconsistencies in the wording of several articles in the Tax Code. These inconsistencies in wording could be interpreted quite creatively, which could lead to the conclusion that the operation of an online casino is allegedly not subject to any taxation.
«It is important that no new taxes were introduced. Ukraine has not yet completed a full-scale gambling tax reform.»
