According to the Ukrainian news media rbc.ua, the Commission for Regulation of Gambling and Lottery (KRAIL) appealed to the staff of the National Security and Defense Council (NSDC) and law enforcement agencies because of PariMatch’s attempts to circumvent sanctions for ties with Russia.
KRAIL experts have identified links between Parimatch and the newly created BuddyBet brand, owned by Winever DV (Curaçao), which previously operated Parimatch sites before the brand got into the sanctions list in Ukraine.
“KRAIL discovered several websites operating under the BuddyBet brand, prepared relevant materials and informed the NSDC Office, as well as law enforcement agencies. KRAIL constantly conducts search and analytical work on the Internet in order to discover new websites that may be associated with persons on the sanctions list,” — added KRAIL spokesperson.
