Jose Mourinho Wins the Hearts of Football Fans in New Advert from Football.com

Football.com has unveiled a new TV ad featuring its brand ambassador’s collaboration with renowned football Manager Jose Mourinho.

In this video, the head coach of AS Roma talks to viewers about the history of European football accompanied by sounds of violin, paying special attention to the highlights of his career.

During 21 years of his career, Mourinho won league titles in four different countries: Portugal, Spain, Italy and England. He also won the Champions League with Porto and Inter Milan, making him one of the most successful football coaches in the world.

Greg Parsons, VP of Business Development at Football.com, noted: “As Mourinho delighted sports fans during his illustrious career, Football.com shares the same principles in igniting the passion of sports in our users.

“This is fundamentally why the partnership with Mourinho resonated with Football.com as we look to push the boundaries in user engagement and entertainment at the intersection between sports and innovative technology.”

The commercial, which was filmed in London, is one and a half minutes long. Despite this, another 30-second version was developed specifically for broadcast on prominent television platforms and channels in Africa.

The video features “The Special One,” as he proclaimed himself after arriving in Chelsea, and later comments from local media: “I’m relentless. I’m ambitious. I am a winner. I’m Jose Mourinho. I’m Football.com.”

Football.com first entered into a partnership with Mourinho in August this year, where he agreed to publish one article per month sharing his insights and details of his career in football gaming, betting and media.

Elias Gallego, VP of Marketing at Football.com, commented on the ad: “We aimed to draw parallels between Mourinho’s winning character and Football.com’s pioneering vision, unwavering commitment to technology, and dedication to providing the finest user experience.”
