Parliament members in Kazakhstan adopted amendments to the country’s Tax Code, which order gambling business owners to provide reports on bets made by residents of Kazakhstan, a Tengrinews.kz correspondent reports.
At the initiative of members of the Parliament, owners of betting companies and sweepstakes must submit online information about the size of bets, losses and winnings to the tax authorities.
Gambling business owners need to integrate the systems to communicate with tax authorities and automatically transfer the necessary information.
The document also orders banks within 10 working days after the adoption of the amendments to provide information about the availability of bank accounts, their numbers, as well as the balances and movement of funds in these accounts to the organizers of the gambling business at the request of the tax authority.
