Uzbekistan is getting ready to ban bank transfers to foreign gambling companies.
If suspicious transactions are detected, the Central Bank of Uzbekistan will temporarily block customer cards for a period of up to three days.
The President of Uzbekistan has banned cross-border gambling-related transfers to local banks. This will make it more difficult for local players to replenish their accounts with the foreign operators.
In Uzbekistan, all gambling except lotteries is prohibited at the legislative level.
