Stats Perform has strengthened its position in the professional tennis world by extending its exclusive agreement to collect and distribute official WTA Tour data and live streams to licensed sportsbooks until the end of the decade.
Marina Storti, CEO of WTA Ventures, welcomed the news and predicted the agreement would have benefits for both fans and professional tennis players.
The partnership has already seen the development of a host of new fan-engagement products, including AI-enriched Opta metrics like clutch points and win probabilities, AI-enriched live streaming features such as instant highlights and tailored insights that display on-screen during games, and full coverage of outer courts and qualifiers.
Alex Rice, Chief Commercial Officer at Stats Perform, said he was “honoured” to continue the relationship with a “highly progressive and professional sports organisation”.
The deal is the latest success for Stats Perform, which has extended its data rights contract with the English Premier League, the English Football League and Scottish Professional Football League, and become the official data partner for top-flight Swiss football in recent months.
