RubyPlay Continues Expansion: Partnership with PokerStars Covers Spain and Romania

Malta-based iGaming studio RubyPlay has expanded its partnership with PokerStars, a brand that is part of Flutter Entertainment.

This expansion includes the launch of RubyPlay games in the regulated markets of Spain and Romania, following a successful rollout in Italy where player acquisition and retention exceeded expectations.

RubyPlay is expanding its partnership with PokerStars, including the development of four new games. The first of them, “Yo Ho Ho“, has already achieved notable success among Italian players.

Dr Eyal Loz, RubyPlay CPO, commented: “We are delighted to be expanding our partnership with PokerStars and taking our successful collaboration into Spain and Romania. Growth is our top priority and we look forward to introducing our diverse slots content to new audiences hungry for entertaining games. We thank PokerStars for giving us a platform to showcase our dynamic, forward-thinking content and look forward to further success together”.

The appointment of Olga Sirokha to the position of Director of Partnerships at RubyPlay underscores the company’s focus on strengthening relationships with current partners and exploring new agreements with operators in important regulated regions. With over twenty years of experience in the gaming industry, particularly in the land-based casino industry in Latin America, Sirokha brings valuable experience to the team.

RubyPlay continues to develop its cooperation by signing partnership agreements not only with PokerStars, but also with other key partners such as NetBet Italy and Reevo. These partnerships have resulted in the integration of over 80 video slots across various platforms, strengthening RubyPlay’s presence in the Italian market.

At the same time, Playson, a digital entertainment provider, has also established a partnership with PokerStars to provide games through Relax Gaming in various markets.

Playson is committed to global growth, focusing on expanding its influence among online casino operators in various parts of the world. Their strategy starts with the UK and other licensed markets for PokerStars, and also includes plans to release content in Spain and Ontario (Canada) in the near future.
