The Committee on Finance, Taxation and Customs Policy of Ukrainian Parliament has endorsed government bill No. 9256, which, among other things, proposes the dissolution of the Commission for the Regulation of Gambling and Lotteries (KRAIL).
As stated by the head of the relevant committee, Daniil Getmantsev, in his Telegram channel, the bill is aimed at improving the regulation of the gambling market.
He added that the document also aims to establish a fair and transparent procedure for licensing enterprises in this field.
The Minister of Digital Transformation, Mykhailo Fedorov, called on parliamentarians to support this initiative. The authors of the draft law propose, among other things, to automate the process of issuing gaming licenses in the gambling sector.
