IGT Agrees 12 More Years of Lottery Updates with Lithuania’s UAB Perlas

NYSE-listed International Game Technology PLC (IGT) through subsidiary IGT Global Solutions Corporation has extended its partnership with Lithuanian Lottery UAB Perlas Network (Perlas).

The agreement will see both parties collaborate for another 12 years until at least 2035, with IGT introducing a steady flow of upgrades to Perlas’ lottery central retail system.

Jay Gendron, IGT Chief Operating Officer Global Lottery, commented: “The technology enhancements being provided to Perlas are backed by IGT’s decades of lottery industry leadership and experience. This upgraded technology will introduce an administration portal that will enable the Lottery to view and manage all applications and back-office functions, helping to improve efficiencies and maximise profitability.”

Perlas first became a customer of IGT back in 1994. Perlas’ subsidiary Euloto UAB signed a contract with IGT in 2023 that saw the deployment of IGT’s cloud-based remote game server, with the deal also involving the rollout of at least 12 instant games per year.

Mindaugas Marcinkevičius, UAB Perlas Network CEO, added: “Upgrading Perlas’ central system with IGT technology will help us optimise and elevate the country’s most popular and exciting lottery games. We look forward to implementing IGT’s upgrades and are pleased to continue this successful relationship for another 12 years.”

With presence across more than 100 counties, IGT is committed to ensuring that all relevant Responsible Gambling practices are in place by working together with relevant shareholders such as the World Lottery Association, the American Gaming Association, the National Council for Problem Gambling among others.

IGT is also the primary software provider for Allwyn UK, which was recently announced as the Fourth National Lottery Licence holder by the National Lottery.
