Stake, an online and cryptocurrency betting platform, has signed a partnership agreement with the International Tennis Federation (ITF), becoming the official betting partner for the Davis Cup and Billie Jean King Cup.
Before signing the deal, the ITF carried out extensive due diligence to ensure the platform complies with betting sponsorship rules as recommended by the International Tennis Integrity Agency.
Stake strengthens its partnerships by entering into a partnership with the ITF following successful partnerships with various sports organizations. In August 2022, Stake became the main partner of Mumbai City FC and joined the partners of the European Cricket Championship.
Furthermore, the company has recently revealed its collaboration with Formula 1: Alfa Romeo underwent rebranding in early January and is now recognized as Stake F1 Team.
Edward Craven, co-founder of Stake, expressed excitement about the opportunity, highlighting its “readiness to take the team to new heights from 2024 and beyond.”
The ITF was founded over 100 years ago, in 1913, with the mission of providing long-term stability and growth opportunities in tennis. The collaboration with Stake was driven in part by a partnership with Sportradar, which is also an ITF sports data partner and an ATP Challenger Tour partner.
Akhil Sarin, Stake CMO, commented: “We are delighted and extremely proud to become the official betting partner of the Davis Cup & Billie Jean King Cup. Tennis is a universally popular sport and these competitions are two of the most passionately followed across the globe. We look forward to some exciting initiatives spread across the tennis calendar and working with the ITF to promote the sport to our worldwide audience.”
Stake currently offers cryptocurrency betting in certain regions, but only accepts fiat bets in the UK.
