Unibet has signed a partnership agreement with the Professional Fighters League (PFL), becoming the official bookmaker and betting partner of PFL Europe in the UK and France in 2024 and 2025.
The two-year partnership will begin with PFL Europe Paris 2024, which will take place on March 7, live from the Accor Arena.
The operator, owned by the Kindred Group, was already a partner of the PFL Europe tournament in Paris in 2023, which was a historic event for French mixed martial arts television.
Neil Banbury, Chief Commercial and Marketing Officer, Kindred Group, commented: “It is always Kindred’s ambition to partner with ambitious, forward-looking sports organizations. The speed of PFL’s growth and its undoubted potential made this an easy choice from our perspective. We can’t wait to support the PFL on its evolution, and we’re counting down the days until our partnership officially begins.”
DAZN also recently partnered with PFL to broadcast four PFL Europe events scheduled for this year.
The development comes after DAZN called 2023 a transformative year and successfully launched the DAZN Bet brand the year before. The London-based OTT sports media platform will now broadcast the promotion’s MMA fights to French audiences, becoming the official “home of PFL in France”.
James Frewin, PFL SVP of International, expressed: “The PFL is proud to partner with UNIBET, the leading sportsbook for mixed martial arts across Europe. PFL Europe and UNIBET share many synergies, and we’re excited to provide fans across the UK and France an opportunity to enjoy a premium gaming experience.”
