Betano extends its partnership with Brazilian Clube Atlético Mineiro (Galo) for next season, expanding the sponsorship agreement begun in 2021 during the club’s successful runs in Brasileirão, Copa do Brasil and Campeonato Mineiro.
The gambling brand will continue to feature on the first team’s jerseys and will also become the main sponsor of the women’s football team. Kaizen Gaming, which owns the brand, will have unique rights to MRV Arena, including a custom box and in-stadium activation capabilities.
Betano commented: “We are committed to expansion, in an agreement that will also include the Club’s women’s football team, which has great potential to grow even further and is going through an important period of restructuring. With the properties at Arena MRV, we will be even closer to the public, planning activations, generating engagement and special moments between the fans, Betano and the club.”
Campeonato Brasileiro Série A stressed that the partnership aims to encourage the sport and create “positive and memorable experiences” for football fans.
Sérgio Coelho, Clube Atlético Mineiro President, added: “Among the bets, Betano is one of the largest and most prestigious in the world. They are expanding the contract with Galo because it has reaped results.This is only possible when you have a huge and rapidly growing brand, like Galo.”
Betano is actively developing its marketing strategy, including a partnership with CONMEBOL Copa America this year.
This is part of a global sponsorship approach that has also seen the company enter into a partnership with the 2024 UEFA European Championships and strengthen its status as the first betting partner for the 2022 FIFA World Cup.
