New Partnership: Betsson Becomes Sponsor of Inter Milan

Reports suggest that Betsson has signed a partnership deal with Inter Milan with the intention of becoming the club’s main sponsor for the 2024/25 season.

Paramount+ was previously the main sponsor of the Serie A team, but the agreement with the US streaming service ends after the last two matches of last season.

FCInter1908.it reports that Inter Milan have reached an agreement with Swedish betting giant Betsson. Insiders suggest the club will receive €30 million plus bonuses over five years.

Betsson, which is actively investing in the Italian region, plans to launch Betsson Sport, with Roma legend Francesco Totti as the face of the brand.

It is important to note that due to Italian law prohibiting the display of betting company names, full branding will not appear on the Inter jersey.

Inter Milan’s jersey is expected to feature the logo of StarCasinò.Sport, the Italian gambling flagship, instead of Betsson next season.

It also noted that Betsson beat out rivals for the contract, including Qatar Airways, by providing a “better offer”. The Arab company offered only 16 to 18 million euros per year.

In October 2022, Betsson confirmed that StarCasino would become Inter Milan’s “main infotainment partner”.

In compliance with Italian laws prohibiting gambling advertising, Betsson began providing exclusive digital content for Inter Milan fans on its media platform.
