Improved AV Streaming for eSports Betting: Sportradar and Oddin.gg Join Forces

Sportradar is enhancing the customer experience by partnering with Oddin.gg to provide audio-visual (AV) delivery of exclusive esports content.

The purpose of the transaction is to support the growth of the eSports betting solutions provider in the expanding global market for the eSports industry.

Patrick Mostboeck, SVP of Fan Engagement at Sportradar, commented: “This agreement further strengthens Sportradar’s esports offering while supporting Oddin.gg in realizing their growth plans through AV streaming for betting”.

With eSports betting expected to reach €83 billion by 2023, the new partnership sees Oddin.gg aim to increase its revenue by expanding its reach of official competition content through Sportradar’s position as an AV betting provider.

“Sportradar’s ultra-low latency audiovisual outputs, as well as our comprehensive Live Odds and real-time trading solutions, provide betting operators with the critical materials they need to commercialize the global, highly engaged esports fan base,” Mostboeck added.

With access to a global network of over 900 betting clientele, Oddin.gg is committed to taking advantage of the opportunity to provide its clients with increased volume and variety of live eSports coverage. This will allow the company to increase its ability to interact with current and potential betting markets.

Vlastimil Venclik, CEO and co-founder of Oddin.gg, noted: “As the forefront innovator in the esports betting sector, Oddin.gg is embarking on a journey by aligning with Sportradar, a leader in the realm of sports data and content distribution. This partnership is not just a collaboration but a combination of distinct strengths, where Sportradar’s extensive and sophisticated video distribution capabilities are set to be the vehicle for our unparalleled esports odds and analytical insights.”

Oddin.gg has official rights to popular competitions including the recently released Counter Strike 2 (CS2), which Sportradar will distribute to bookmakers through the company’s integrated streaming product.

Venclik continued: “This strategic alliance aims to harness the best of both worlds, merging our profound expertise and nuanced understanding of the esports betting market with Sportradar’s wide-reaching video distribution.”

Sportradar also recently introduced enhanced betting functionality as part of NBA League Pass in partnership with the NBA.

Sports betting content such as point spreads, over-unders and money lines are now seamlessly integrated into the sports streaming platform powered by emBET, Sportradar’s OTT solution.
