On March 28, a ceremony was held in Astana to award the best representatives of sports and business in Kazakhstan at the Metaratings Top Awards.
Representatives of sports federations, outstanding athletes, sports bloggers, media and business representatives gathered as part of the gala dinner. Prizes were awarded to the most successful sportsmen and women, coaches and managers, teams and sports federations, as well as ambassadors and betting companies for their achievements in 2023.
More than 40,000 residents of Kazakhstan took part in determining the finalists at the first stage by voting on the Metaratings Top Awards website. At the second stage, the winner was selected from among the finalists of the open voting by an expert jury, which included prominent representatives of Kazakhstani sports.
According to the voting results, the winner in the category “Best Sports TV Channel” was Setanta Sports. The Kazakhstan national football team became the team of the year.
