Betsson appeared on the front of the new Boca Juniors shirt, with the launch commemorating the club’s 119th anniversary. The blue and gold kit made its first appearance the following weekend in the game against Newell’s Old Boys.
In an official video announcing the deal, Betsson Group CEO Jesper Svensson stated that “some paths are always destined to be crossed” in the official video celebrating the deal.
He said: “We are very proud of our Swedish heritage and our partnership with Boca Juniors for the blue and gold cores and our mutual love for football.
“As sponsors, we are encouraged to awaken the peace between the fans and the players with a new shirt, which reminds us of our history and our values.”
The operator noted that the design of the shirt was inspired by the Swedish flag, with the dominant color blue, with some elements in gold trim, as well as a large Betsson logo in the center.
Maximiliano Bellio, Executive Director of Betsson in Argentina, commented: “We hope that this new uniform motivates you to live every minute of play with intensity, because, when we talk about where we see, not only does it make us feel at home, but it also increases the paixão that we enjoy through the magic of football and the experiences that we ‘We can only live like Boca.”
The club uploaded images of two players in the new kit to X(formerly Twitter).
The match ended with a victory for Boca Juniors with a score of 3:1.
