Danske Spil, Denmark’s state-owned operator, has entered into a new partnership with regional game developer Booming Games.
Booming Games has been certified to provide a full range of games to Danish players for the first time in August 2023.
Danske Spil players will now have access to Booming Games’ flagship games such as TNT Bonanza, Cash Pig, The Wild Wings of Phoenix.
This new partnership represents a further step for Booming Games in their growth strategy in Europe, especially following the company’s acquisition of a license in the promising Romanian market.

At the moment, Danish players continue to actively participate in the gambling market. In February 2024, gambling spending was around DKK 587 million, which represents an increase of 18.3% compared to the previous period, according to Spillemyndigheden, the country’s gambling regulator.
At the same time, public awareness of the importance of preventing problem gambling remains high. According to the latest data from the regulator, by April 2024 the number of participants in the ROFUS self-exclusion program reached 50,000 people.
