Online gaming operator Alphabook has strengthened its brand ambassador portfolio by signing a new partnership with former Manchester United goalkeeper Peter Schmeichel.
The Danish national is a recognisable name in football, having won five Premier League titles and the Champions League, as well as the UEFA European Championship with Denmark’s national team.
A poll held by Reuters distinguished Schmeichel as the best goalkeeper in history in the public eye, with 200,000 participants voting him ahead of other legends like Lev Yashin and Gordon Banks.
His son, Kasper Schmeichel, continued to bring fame to the family name, taking the English Premier League by storm by winning the 2015/16 season title with Leicester City FC.

By becoming an Alphabook ambassador, Peter Schmeichel joins the ranks of A-list sports personalities such as UFC Featherweight Champion Ilia Topuria and fellow title contender Merab Dvalishvili.
Schmeichel added: “I’m delighted to be part of Alphabooks family ahead of the busy summer of football at the Euros and Copa America. This will be a very special partnership.”
