Bookmaker SkyBet has announced it will now accept bets on OKTAGON MMA from UK customers. Meanwhile, William Hill clients already have the option to bet on these promotion fights.
OKTAGON MMA co-owner Pavol Neruda stated “SkyBet is an extremely well-respected platform, and this exemplifies the growth of OKTAGON MMA in the UK and Ireland, a market where we have dedicated significant effort to expand, and shine a light on up-and-coming MMA talent.”
OKTAGON MMA has made considerable strides in engaging its growing fan base in the UK. In November 2023, the promotion organized fights at Manchester’s AO Arena. This year, it hosted OKTAGON 52 in Newcastle in January and OKTAGON 56 at the Resorts World Arena in Birmingham in April.
SkyBet’s UK clients have already started placing bets on the upcoming OKTAGON 58 tournament, set to take place in Prague at the Fortuna Arena, featuring a rematch between Carlos Vemola and Attila Vegh.
Last year, Neruda emphasized that the promotion’s main goal was to expand its presence in the region. Concurrently, OKTAGON MMA entered into an agreement with Channel 4.
Channel 4 is a British free-to-air public television channel owned and operated by Channel Four Television Corporation. It is publicly owned but does not receive government funding, unlike the BBC.
