St8.io has received a Notice of Recognition from the Malta Gaming Authority (MGA), allowing it to expand its access to MGA-regulated markets.
This approval permits St8.io to operate within the MGA’s regulatory framework and extend its reach into additional markets. The recognition is equivalent to a standard MGA B2B license and complements St8.io’s existing license from the Romanian National Gaming Authority, obtained last year.
Vladimir Negine, St8.io CEO, stated: “This will enable us to provide our platform to operators in MGA-regulated markets worldwide, maintaining the highest levels of player protection along the way. Alongside the licence we received in Romania, we’re now able to support partners in even more markets. Our plan is to continue to expand our licensed footprint in 2024 and beyond.”
With this MGA recognition, St8.io can now offer its platform to operators in MGA-regulated markets globally, enhancing its capacity to support partners in more regions.
In February 2024, St8.io entered into an agreement with Betby to provide a single API integration for its casino and sportsbook content. This collaboration enables St8.io’s partner operators to access Betby’s sportsbook through the same API used for the casino, streamlining gaming efforts. The partnership covers over 210,000 events across 125 major sports and over 3,000 betting markets.
