TIME announced that Flutter was named one of the 100 most influential companies of 2024. Called a “pioneer” by TIME, Flutter was included on the list after a series of nominations and surveys among contributors and correspondents from around the world.
Peter Jackson, CEO of Flutter, commented: “I am extremely proud of everyone in our global business who works tirelessly to make Flutter the great company it is today. Receiving this recognition from TIME provides us with much deserved reflection on our recent successes as we confidently move into our next phase of growth.”
Flutter made TIME’s fourth annual list after a successful 12 months.
The Irish company posted revenues of $12 billion in fiscal 2023, up 25% year-on-year. Flutter, which has an average of 12.3 million monthly active players worldwide, reported continued revenue growth at the start of the new financial year. In the first quarter of 2024, the FanDuel owner reported revenue of $3.4 billion, up 16% from the first quarter of 2023.
Flutter has also strengthened its presence in America by listing on the New York Stock Exchange last month. In preparation for this, Flutter delisted from Euronext Dublin to minimize regulatory scrutiny while remaining listed on the London Stock Exchange.
Flutter was the only gaming-focused company to make TIME’s 2024 list.
