EvenBet Gaming has received the Kansspelautoriteit (KSA) certificate, which allows it to provide poker and card games to regulated gaming operators in the Netherlands.
This certificate was issued by the Dutch regulator following a technical assessment carried out by BMM Testlabs, marking an “important milestone” in EvenBet’s strategic growth plans.
Dmitry Starostenkov, CEO at EvenBet Gaming, noted: “Receiving a Dutch certification is a key moment in EvenBet’s history. It showcases our desire to work within the strictest jurisdictions to ensure players receive the highest-quality gaming experience and that sports betting operators, casinos and dedicated poker rooms have the tools to manage these effectively.”
In 2021, online poker was regulated in the Netherlands, and the arrival of EvenBet strengthened its position as one of the few providers offering this product vertical in the region.
Meanwhile, KSA’s new Responsible Gaming Policy came into effect on June 3, and
the remaining player intervention obligations must be fulfilled by October 2024.
The new agreement allows licensed Dutch operators to integrate EvenBet’s most popular poker and card games, as well as use an advanced CRM solution to manage poker tables and customers.
This news comes as many major online poker providers and operators are withdrawing from the market due to updated regulatory requirements.
“It is the latest move in our extensive commercial strategy, and we are delighted to be entering a market that is serviced by only a handful of the most dedicated developers,” Starostenkov added.
In recent weeks, EvenBet has strengthened its fraud detection capabilities, especially in the fight against artificial intelligence bots.
With the development of artificial intelligence and machine learning technologies, it is becoming increasingly difficult to identify AI bots, which poses a growing financial and reputational threat to the gaming industry around the world.
