Crypto casino Stake has formed a partnership with UK-based responsible gambling non-profit BetBlocker, providing its customers with free access to the BetBlocker RG tool. This collaboration aims to enhance Stake’s player safety measures and minimize gambling-related harm.
BetBlocker offers anonymous software that allows players to block access to numerous gambling sites, serving as a valuable tool for those struggling with addiction. Users can preemptively block themselves and set time limits ranging from a few days to several years.
Speaking on the deal Pedro Romero, Chief of Safer Gambling Partnerships at BetBlocker, said: “BetBlocker is thrilled to collaborate with Stake to expand the reach of our software. We are delighted that Stake is taking a significant step forward in promoting responsible gambling.”
Previously, BetBlocker entered a data-sharing agreement with Blask, an AI-powered analytics provider for iGaming.
A Stake spokesperson also commented: “At Stake, we pride ourselves on delivering an entertaining and customer-centric experience, while acknowledging the importance of responsible gambling. Strengthening our relationship with BetBlocker plays an integral role in ensuring their product serves to benefit our customers.”
In January, Stake also partnered with Mancala Gaming in the US market.
