Betsson has secured an online casino and sports betting license in the Peruvian gambling market for its Betsson and Betsafe brands.
Additionally, the Stockholm-based betting and gaming operator anticipates receiving a license soon for Inkabet, its Peru-focused sports betting and online casino business.
Pontus Lindvall, President and CEO of Betsson AB, expressed the group’s enthusiasm for the implementation of local regulations in Peru and their satisfaction with the issuance of these licenses.
Besides Peru, Betsson holds licenses in Colombia and Argentina in Latin America, as well as in Buenos Aires, Buenos Aires Province, and Cordoba.
In March, Betsson expanded its European footprint by introducing its flagship brand to Italy.
