Digitain Strengthens Its Position in the Greek Market

Digitain has received all the necessary certifications to operate in Greece. The sportsbook and casino platform provider has received an A1 manufacturer license from the Hellenic Gaming Commission, allowing it to increase its presence in the regulated European market.

Digitain already holds licenses from the Malta Gaming Authority (MGA) and Oficiul Romania’s Național pentru Jocuri de Noroc (ONJN) in Europe, and the latest license from the Hellenic Gaming Commission allows it to further strengthen its presence in the region.

The news follows the successful acquisition of a B2B license in Greece by provider Altenar in May, allowing it to offer its services in the country for the next seven years.

There have also been major deals in the region in recent months, with Light & Wonder signing a deal with bet365 and Pragmatic Play expanding its partnership with bet365 in Greece.

Iain Hutchison, Digitain Chief Revenue Officer, commented: “We are delighted that we have attained our B2B license from the Hellenic Gaming Commission. Digitain continues to expand across multiple regulated jurisdictions, and the Greek license is a further example of our vision and that of our teams’ commitment to regulatory compliance and the exemplary standards of our platform technology and focus as a company. We look forward to having our award-winning sportsbook and Centrivo platform and much more available within the Greek market as one of continental Europe’s largest and growing regulated markets.”

Digitain also recently unveiled its Centrivo CRM platform, designed to improve player lifecycle management and interactions with partner operators.
