The upcoming SBC Summit will intensify its focus on equipping industry experts with top-tier payment solutions and compliance strategies with the introduction of the Payment Expert Summit.
The Payment Expert Summit, named after SBC’s dedicated media brand, is scheduled for September 24-26 at the Feira Internacional de Lisboa. The summit will feature a dedicated conference program, networking facilities, and a show floor, providing a comprehensive environment for professionals to gain insights and forge valuable connections.

On the evening of Wednesday, September 25th, SBC will also host a dedicated ‘Payment Expert VIP Dinner & Networking Party’. This invite-only event will be held at the award-winning Trindade bar, offering operators and payment brands a three-course dinner and complimentary drinks.
Rasmus Sojmark, CEO & Founder of SBC, said: “Reflecting on last year’s SBC Summit Barcelona, it was clear that delegates responded extremely positively to our ‘Payments & Compliance Zone.’ This enthusiasm, along with the tremendous work of our media brand ‘Payment Expert,’ made it an easy decision to establish a dedicated summit.
“By offering delegates a focused educational program, showcasing the latest services and products, and providing ample networking opportunities, we aim to spur innovation and collaboration to drive the industry forward.”
Payment professionals looking to enhance their knowledge can anticipate three days of educational content addressing crucial topics impacting the payment sector. Sessions will explore the impact of open banking on financial access for gamblers by 2025, the transformative effects of unified payments on the gambling industry, navigating global complexities in gambling AML, and the influence of global economic trends on payment departments. Additionally, discussions will delve into the relationship between evolving fraud attempts and payment systems, and whether cryptocurrency can redefine the future of betting and gaming.
Industry experts set to feature as part of the Payment Expert Summit conference include Gabriele Griesbacher (Global Director of Payments and Compliance, DAZN), Isabelle Delisle (Global Head of Group Payments, Pinnacle), Christian Reinheimer (Group Director of Payments Product, LeoVegas Group), Liron Warhaftig (VP Product, BetMGM), Agata Smilgin (Head of Fraud and Payments, The Luck Factory), Rahul Das (Director of Payments, LiveScore Group), Sandhya Singh (Chief Customer Experience Officer, Casumo), Shirelle Zammit (CFO, Hit Gaming), Andrea McGeachin (CEO, Neosurf) and more.
