Oddin.gg Obtains Fourth US Licence Post Comprehensive Checks

Oddin.gg has received a temporary licence from the West Virginia Lottery Commission as it continues its north American expansion plans.

The Prague-based esports specialist looks to demonstrate its ability to offer services that fully comply with the state’s regulatory system, which is known for its rigorous standards and comprehensive framework for sports betting.

Vlastimil Venclik, Oddin.gg Co-Founder and CEO, stated: “We are thrilled to achieve yet another important milestone for Oddin.gg. Acquiring the West Virginia licence strengthens our position in the US market.

“Combined with new US-based operators becoming our clients, this licence marks another significant step in our North American expansion strategy. The work doesn’t stop here; we are actively working on acquiring further US licences to support both existing clients and future prospects.”

In detail, the West Virginia sports betting licence allows operators to offer both online and retail betting, aiming to ensure ‘broad reach’ and ‘accessibility’ for users across the state.

Oddin.gg emphasised that the licensing process included ‘stringent checks’ on financial stability, operational integrity, and compliance with state laws.

“The esports betting volume is approximately $80bn with $5.5bn revenue at approximately 7% margin. We offer US betting companies a partnership that will allow them to surge opportunities in the booming segment,” Venclik added.

“The new generation of bettors, the fans of competitive gaming, are constantly on a lookout for a solution that will bring them more markets, more live opportunities, higher engagement, simply said, more fun. In reward, they offer loyalty and high ARPU to operators that demonstrate understanding and passion for esports. Oddin.gg has both.”

This is now the operator’s fourth North American licence, further strengthening the company’s presence and impact in the US esports betting market.

The firm announced in November last year that it was actively pursuing licences in a further eight US states.
