Playson has become the latest online casino supplier to expand its presence in Latin America, having received a license from Peruvian gambling regulator the Ministry of Foreign Trade and Tourism.
With this license, Playson will now be able to offer its entire catalog of slots to online casino operators in Peru.
Playson games such as Thunder Coins: Hold and Win, Energy Joker: Hold and Win, Clover Charm: Hit the Bonus and Fire Temple: Hold and Win are now available to Peruvian players.
Tamas Custos, Chief Commercial Officer at Playson, praised the studio’s recent expansion efforts, stressing: “As we seek to bring more engaging experiences to players in new markets, obtaining a license in Peru is a significant strategic move. The market stands out as one of the most promising in the LatAm region and we look forward to establishing a prominent position in the country.”
The Peruvian license aligns with the current trend of gaming industry providers entering the market following the introduction of new online casino gambling regulations in February 2024.
Since then, many slot developers have taken advantage of the new regulated market, with brands such as 7777 gaming, SYNOT Games, Spinomenal, Galaxsys and Booming Games already accredited by MINCETUR, the Peruvian Gambling Authority.
