A significant step in its European expansion plans, the operator VBET continues to form strategic partnerships with top football clubs and associations.
Aragats Asatryan, VBET CEO, commented: “We are proud to welcome the Malta Football National Team into our extensive portfolio of national team partnerships.
“Also being a partner of the Malta Premier League, our focus is on fostering the development of football in Malta and delivering unforgettable experiences to fans.”
The Malta Football Association is one of the oldest in Europe, having been founded in 1900. Through this deal, VBET continues to deepen its engagement within the football community, furthering its mission to “support sports at every level”.
“This collaboration with VBET is very interesting, as the betting operator continues its expansion in European football,” added Malta Football Association President, Bjorn Vassallo.
“This represents an exciting partnership for the Team ahead of the national team’s opening matches in the UEFA Nations League this September.”
The news shortly follows VBET being named the international betting partner of the Maltese Premier League this month. The deal with Malta’s top football league, which spans two years, now sees the operator sponsor the 360 Sports Malta Premier League’s Coach of the Month and Coach of the Year awards.
On this, Asatryan said: “It is important for us to announce this major football partnership in Malta, especially as VBET obtained its first European licence in that country.”
