The SBC Summit in Lisbon aims to improve media engagement by creating a dedicated Media Headquarters that will serve as a key platform for operators, suppliers and affiliates to connect with journalists from leading industry publications.
The event, which will take place from 24th to 26th September, will bring together 25,000 participants from around the world. This SBC initiative aims to increase the value of the summit for attendees and media partners by providing more networking opportunities, strengthening business relationships and assisting brands with their visibility and lead generation strategies. Media partners will be provided with all the necessary tools to effectively cover the event.

Press Box PR, a PR agency with experienced journalists and PR specialists, has been appointed as the official partner of the Media Headquarters. Press Box PR will oversee the management and operation of this key area, ensuring effective interaction between media/professionals and event participants.
The Media Headquarters area will also feature stands of 16 media outlets, located directly in front of this area. The stands are strategically located between the main entrance of the venue and the entrance to the MEO Arena.

Press Conference Room: A dedicated space for product launches, business announcements, and exclusive interviews. This zone within the Media Headquarters will host press conferences and Q&A sessions, providing a platform for companies to present their latest innovations and news directly to the press (schedule coming soon).
Interview Zones: Four interview booths will be available – one of which will be bookable by media attendees, providing an ideal setting for one-on-one interviews, podcasts and in-depth discussions. A few specific media will have their own pre-assigned interview spaces, including Agimeg, Betting Startups, Casino Guru Newsand SBC Media.
Media Lounge: A comfortable workspace equipped with desks, chairs, and plenty of power outlets. The Media Lounge is designed to support journalists and writers, providing them with the resources and refreshments they need to produce timely and accurate coverage of the event.
On Monday, September 23, SBC is inviting all media professionals to a press reception. This event will provide a preview of the summit venue, including a detailed tour of the Media Headquarters. The reception will conclude with an exclusive SBC press conference to reveal details of the SBC 2024 Summit and future plans for this flagship event.
In addition, the SBC team has prepared a Google Drive folder to assist media members in preparing for the event. This resource includes press releases related to the SBC Summit, as well as materials from exhibitors and sponsors, which are offered for posting on media partner platforms.
