Betsson has announced a new global sponsorship deal with Premier Padel. The long-term deal with the official professional padel tour will see the operator become the main sponsor, offering a wide range of padel odds and aiming to ‘enrich the overall viewer experience’.
Ronni Hartvig, Chief Commercial Officer of Betsson Group, commented: “We are probably the most dedicated betting company out there when it comes to padel. With our extensive experience in sponsoring tournaments and offering one of the broadest ranges of odds in the industry.”
Betsson has been actively involved in padel for many years, including various partnerships, ambassadorships and sponsorships of FIP tournaments, as well as initiatives to popularize the sport, such as the launch of the “Betsson Padel Tour”, a nationwide amateur tournament in Sweden.
Additionally, the company sponsored the Mar del Plata Premier Padel P1 in Argentina earlier this year.
Hartvig added: “Not to mention that many of Betsson employees are devoted padel players. Now, we’re taking it a step further by becoming sponsors of the biggest tournament out there, and we are humbled and delighted to play our part in the growth of the sport.”
In addition, the deal aims to enhance the fan experience of the Qatar Airways Premier Padel Tour, as Betsson will provide competition information, new content and data on the tour’s leading players, as well as offer tickets and VIP services during tournaments.
