The live casino games provider Imagine Live has announced the appointment of Martin Martirosyan as the new Group CEO. In 2023, Martirosyan joined the parent company Digitain as Deputy CEO.
In his new role, Martirosyan will lead the Imagine Live Group while continuing to serve as Deputy CEO at Digitain.
With a PhD in Economics, Martirosyan spent 19 years working at HSBC Bank Armenia. He began his career as a Senior Corporate Relationship Manager and later became the Director of Corporate Banking, a position he left to join Digitain.
Digitain Group Founder Vardges Vardanyan commented on Martirosyan’s appointment, stating: “Martin has played a crucial role in our growth success since he joined last year as Group Deputy CEO, a role he will continue to hold in conjunction with the Group CEO role of Imagine Live. As we strategically expand across various regulated markets, it is vital that we realign our leadership team and business unit structures.
“Martin’s extensive leadership and multi-jurisdictional market experience position him perfectly to lead our team, and with Imagine Live’s exceptional performance in the premium segment of live dealer solutions, we anticipate remarkable expansion under Martin’s guidance, providing top-tier service to our B2C partner operators in high-value regulated markets.”
In the past year, Imagine Live has implemented several significant initiatives in the European market. The company expanded its presence in Georgia and received approval from the Swedish Gambling Authority in August. In September, a new partnership agreement was signed with Betera in Belarus. Recently, through a collaboration with King.rs, the company launched its live dealer tables in Serbia.
Additionally, in September 2024, the parent company Digitain received a license from the UK’s Gambling Commission.
