1xBet Secures Rights to Broadcast PGL Under a Two-Year Deal

1xBet has become the exclusive betting partner of PGL for Counter-Strike 2 and Dota 2.

The Cypriot company, which signed an agreement until the end of 2026, has also received the rights to broadcast the matches, which will allow it to broadcast the games on its own platform.

In addition, as part of the agreement, 1xBet will become a sponsor of events held by PGL, starting with the Counter-Strike 2 tournament, which is taking place in Cluj-Napoca from February 14, 2025. 1xBet will place advertisements during the broadcasts of the events, as well as integrate its logo into the broadcasts.

In the announcement, a representative from 1xBet stated: “The esports community is fundamental to us, and partnering with PGL is one way for us to reach out and support that community directly.”

“We put on tournaments together to help esports reach new people worldwide and share what makes it so cool. That’s key to making esports truly global.”

The bookmaker is no stranger to the esports industry. Last year, it partnered with Bestia and OG Esports.

This is also not the first time PGL and 1xBet have joined forces. At last year’s PGL Copenhagen Major, the bookmaker was already the “main partner” of the event.

1xBet has also partnered with several event organizers under similar deals. In 2023, the company partnered with Skyesports to become the sponsor of Skyesports Masters, an Indian Counter-Strike league that uses a franchise model.
