SBC Awards 2025: Winners Announced

EveryMatrix, Kaizen Gaming, Optimove and Sportradar were among the major winners at the SBC Awards 2025 ceremony, held at the MEO Arena in Lisbon on September 18.

The event took place on the final day of the SBC Summit. This marked the 12th edition of the awards, dedicated to recognising the outstanding achievements of industry leaders, operators and suppliers in key market segments including payments, marketing and platform innovation.

The evening was hosted by legendary goalkeeper and former Netherlands international Edwin van der Sar, who presented 37 awards in front of an audience of 1,200 industry representatives.

The main winner was Kaizen Gaming, which once again won the title of Large Operator of the Year, as well as Sportsbook Operator of the Year.

  • 8888.bg was named Small Operator of the Year,
  • Vegas Legends – Medium Operator of the Year.

Other operator categories included:

  • Betsson Group – Casino Operator of the Year,
  • 1xBet – Marketing Campaign of the Year,
  • Novibet – Innovation in Casino & Gaming Entertainment.

In the Rising Star categories:

  • BetMGM Europe – in Casino,
  • Boomerang – in Sports Betting.

In Payments and Compliance:

  • Nuvei beat last year’s winner Pay4Fun to claim Payment Solution of the Year,
  • GeoComply – Fraud & Compliance Solution of the Year,
  • Payhound – Payment Innovation of the Year.

Special recognition was given to leadership and workplace culture:

  • SOFTSWISS was once again crowned Employer of the Year,
  • The Leader of the Year award went jointly to Natalia Nogues (Control F5) and Vigen Badalyan (BetConstruct).

In the supplier categories:

  • BetConstruct – White Label Supplier of the Year,
  • EveryMatrix retained its title as Multi-Channel Supplier of the Year and also won Socially Responsible Initiative of the Year,
  • Sportradar – double recognition for Sports Data Product of the Year and Land-Based Betting & Gaming Product of the Year,
  • Optimove – double winner too, with Marketing & Services Provider of the Year and Acquisition & Retention Partner of the Year.

On the casino side:

  • Pragmatic Play – Slots Developer of the Year (Large),
  • BGaming – Slots Developer of the Year (Medium),
  • Kendoo – Slots Developer of the Year (Small).

  • BETBY – Esports Supplier of the Year
  • Blask – Rising Star in Casino Innovation / Software

The awards ceremony concluded the final day of the SBC Summit, which brought together 30,000 industry professionals at the Feira Internacional de Lisboa from September 16–18.
