SBC Summit Tbilisi 2025 concluded last week, setting a new attendance record with over 2,000 delegates from 44 countries, cementing its position as the fastest-growing industry event in Eastern Europe and Central Asia.

Sports icons are powerful agents of change in the gaming and entertainment industries. Their influence can be harnessed for good – promoting responsible gaming, supporting youth, and building trust – if clubs, operators, and regulators work together. Ukrainian IT company FAVBET Tech remitted more than UAH 650 million ($16.3 million) to the state budget over the first nine months of 2025. Moreover, FAVBET Tech has been cooperating with Ukraine’s Defense Forces for more than three years and is now developing several key military technology directions.

Two of the biggest B2B firms in the gambling sector are at each other’s throats as Evolution and Playtech trade accusations of smear campaigns and illicit activity.

Soft2Bet has launched TopBet.ro, a new Romanian sportsbook designed to cater to local habits and preferences. While thanks to a new partnership with CreedRoomz, Betano has expanded its online game library.

Kambi Group has strengthened its footprint in the Netherlands by striking a partnership with local online operator Betnation. While Elantil is expanding its marketplace offering for partners by adding an online poker solution from EvenBet Gaming.

The UAE’s emerging betting and gaming market continues to develop at pace, with the list of licensed vendors continually expanding, Sportradar being the latest addition.

The third edition of the Gaming Industry Gala Dinner will take place on 25 November 2025 at Hyatt Regency Sofia and is expected to be the largest so far.
