3 Oaks Gaming has strengthened its European expansion through a partnership with Microgame in Italy. As a result of the deal, 3 Oaks’ portfolio of games will now be available to Microgame’s Italian players, including titles such as Sun of Egypt 5, Super Hot Teapots and Lucky Penny 2.

Previously, the company signed a similar agreement with BetFlag and also formed new partnerships with AdmiralBet, StarVegas and GBO Italy throughout the year.
Elsewhere in Europe, 3 Oaks strengthened its presence in the Netherlands through a deal with Starcasino in September and in Romania via a partnership with WINBET.
3 Oaks obtained certification for the Italian market in October 2022 and made its debut the following March through an aggregation agreement with Tuko Productions.

3 Oaks Gaming is expanding its presence in Italy as local market stakeholders adapt to a new regulatory framework. On 13 November, 52 licences from 46 operators were activated by the Customs and Monopolies Agency (ADM), marking a “smooth and decisive reset” of the market.
A key element of the reform strategy was a ban on the use of “skins”, which previously allowed multiple affiliate sites to operate under a single master licence. This led to the closure of hundreds of gambling websites.
ADM’s reform strategy also includes stricter compliance measures, advanced technological enforcement, enhanced anti-money laundering controls, and efforts to eliminate a significant portion of the illegal gambling market in Italy.
