ThrillTech continues to expand its presence in Europe after securing a licence from the Hellenic Gaming Commission (HGC) in Greece.
The Category A1 licence will allow the company to offer its ThrillPots jackpot product to regulated online gambling operators in the Greek market. The product is based on a side-bet jackpot mechanism.

ThrillTech highlighted that the company independently completes all necessary licensing and certification procedures, as its jackpot technology operates separately from operators’ gaming products and sportsbook solutions.
Side-bet jackpots do not affect core game mathematics or change the return-to-player (RTP) rates of underlying games. Therefore, ThrillTech undergoes separate licensing and certification processes to operate its proprietary random number generator (RNG) software.
The RNG determines the outcomes of independent side-bet jackpots. These jackpots have a separate RTP, defined by the operator, while the prize pool is funded through side bets placed by players who voluntarily opt into the feature.
Greece has become the latest regulated European market where ThrillTech has secured a licence or certification. Other jurisdictions include the United Kingdom, Sweden, the Netherlands, Romania, Malta and the recently announced Gibraltar.
Beyond Europe, the company also holds approvals to operate in markets across the Americas, including Brazil, Peru and the Canadian province of Ontario.
