The European Safe Gambling Week (ESGW) will take place from October 17 to 23, and in honor of this event, several organizations will hold events dedicated to discussing the liability and harm caused by gambling.
Various webinars, workshops and social media campaigns will take place across Europe. To guide ESGW 2022, the European Gambling and Betting Association (EGBA) has published the agenda.
The presentation will be a webinar called «Minimising gambling-related harm: Contributing to a better understanding of problem gambling in Europe.» The event will begin at 11:00 CET on October 17th and is expected to run for about an hour.
There will also be three events on Monday. Including one organized by the Sweden’s Trade Association for Online Gambling (BOS) and one organized by Betsson.
Other events at ESGW 2022 include an invite-only conference hosted by Entain on October 19th. The event will be linked to the «Entain Sustain» program.
On Wednesday, the International Betting Integrity Association (IBIA) will launch a social media program entitled «Betting Integrity and Consumer Protection.»
Most events are scheduled for Monday during ESGW. There will be two events on Tuesday, three on Wednesday and Thursday, and only one on Friday.
The EGBA stated that more will be added in the future, noting: «Stay tuned for further information as more events are added to the agenda in the next days.»
