The Cearense Football Federation (FCF) has announced Superbet as the main sponsor of the Cearense Championship 2024, giving the company naming rights to the prestigious national tournament. This was a significant event for Brazilian football.
The championship will now be known as Cearense Superbet 2024. The kickoff is scheduled for January 20 with a match between Fortaleza, a five-time state champion, and Horizonte, the current Serie B state title holder.
Superbet, the sports betting company, has not only made its presence known in Sirenza, but has also turned its attention to the Sao Paulo football scene. It is currently actively negotiating sponsorship agreements with well-known clubs in the region.
Negotiations with Corinthians for the 2024 season are in focus. Currently, the club partnering with Pixbet is faced with a difficult choice, as Pixbet has expressed its desire to become their main sponsor. According to sports journalist Jorge Nicola, Pixbet offered a whopping R$100 million for this sponsorship, responding to Superbet’s R$80 million offer. Pixbet is ready to increase its bet by R$20 million in response to Superbet’s competitive offer.
FC Sao Paulo is also in talks with Superbet over a possible sponsorship deal that could last for four years. Current sponsor Sportsbet.io retains the right to pursue any new sponsorship proposals, creating an exciting dynamic in sports marketing.
