The Ukrainian Gambling and Lotteries Commission (KRAIL) has blocked five more unlicensed sites. The list of blocked sites includes 1xslot.com, Bet2casino.fun, Betmatch2win.com, Betwinner6.com and Kasinos-vip.net.

“The specified websites provide access to gambling games from the territory of Ukraine without the corresponding KRAIL license, which is a gross violation of the current legislation in the field of gambling,” the regulator emphasized.

This year, KRAIL has blocked almost 3,000 illegal sites as part of its fight against problem gambling. The sites were given three days to cease their operations in Ukraine.

Meanwhile, the number of registrations in Ukraine’s national self-exclusion scheme continues to grow.

KRAIL reported that self-exclusion applications increased by 7% in August, with 557 new players registering from July to August. Since the beginning of the year, 5,269 people have registered, and the total number of self-excluded players as of August 1 was 8,431. As of July 1, the number of registrations was 7,874.

The regulator noted that the registry plays an important role in the fight against gambling addiction in the country. It also looked at cases of online fraud, where players are lured to illegal sites, which leads to deposits being transferred and having to pay a fee for a refund. Sites may consider such payments fraudulent, requiring additional fines.

KRAIL urged players to check the license of online operators before starting to play.
