Partnering with one of the country\u2019s most widely followed football teams serves the company\u2019s brand growth ambitions in the market.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>An official representative of Don.ro, <strong>Marius Mirasovici<\/strong>, said: \u201cWe are honored to join the CFR Cluj family, a symbol of excellence in Romanian football. This partnership reflects the shared values that bring us together \u2013 performance, responsibility, and respect for the community.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cAt Don.ro, we are committed to promoting a safe and balanced entertainment environment, and through our collaboration with CFR Cluj, we aim to deliver a strong message about the importance of responsible play, both on and off the field.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The new partnership with the top-flight Romanian club pushes the brand\u2019s visibility even further in the local market, and also includes a range of live and digital initiatives supported by Soft2Bet\u2019s platform, focused on enhancing fans\u2019 interactions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Cristian Balaj,<\/strong> CFR Cluj President, added on the deal with Don.ro: \u201cThe fact that Don.ro is becoming the main partner of our club is both a validation of the work we do every day and an important step in strengthening CFR Cluj\u2019s image both nationally and internationally.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cWe are pleased to have a dynamic partner by our side, one with a modern vision who believes in the power of sport to inspire and bring people together. Moreover, Don.ro has chosen to offer each season ticket holder this season an official jersey \u2013 a gesture of appreciation for the passion and loyalty with which they support us.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The platform featured more than 1,200 games at launch, later expanding to nearly 4,000, alongside sportsbook services and gamified engagement tools. As part of this roll-out, Soft2Bet deepened its collaboration with Hacksaw Gaming which then brought Romanian-approved slot titles to the Don.ro platform.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Last year, shortly following Don.ro\u2019s launch, <strong>Styliana Kalogreadou<\/strong>, Head of B2B Marketing at Soft2Bet, reflected on the company\u2019s global expansion. \u201cAt Soft2Bet, we\u2019re constantly evolving, so sustaining the momentum of our growth is second nature to us,\u201d she said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Betting companies are continuing to be active partners in Romanian football, with no lingering talks of bans on shirt sponsorships like over in the UK.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>According to Soft2Bet\u2019s General Counsel, <strong>David Yatom<\/strong>, Romania is one of the group\u2019s pivotal Eastern European markets, positioned as a \u201claunching point\u201d to expand deeper into the region.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In 2021, Romania\u2019s total gambling market revenue exceeded \u00a3400m for the very first time, with online gambling accounting for 56.7% of that figure.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This strong growth positioned Romania as one of the most appealing markets for iGaming operators like Soft2Bet to broaden their presence.
