{"id":11873,"date":"2025-12-23T11:53:18","date_gmt":"2025-12-23T11:53:18","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/sbceurasia.com\/en\/?p=11873"},"modified":"2025-12-23T11:53:21","modified_gmt":"2025-12-23T11:53:21","slug":"facebook-tests-link-posting-limits-for-users","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/sbceurasia.com\/en\/2025\/12\/23\/facebook-tests-link-posting-limits-for-users\/","title":{"rendered":"Facebook Tests Link Posting Limits for Users"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>Affiliate partners may face restrictions under <strong>Meta\u2019s<\/strong> new experiment, which limits the number of links users can post on <strong>Facebook<\/strong> if they do not subscribe to <strong>Meta Verified.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Last week, several users received notifications stating that certain profiles would only be able to share links in two organic posts per month.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Social media expert <strong>Matt Navarra<\/strong> shared a screenshot of the notification, which read:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&nbsp;\u201cStarting December 16, certain Facebook profiles without Meta Verified, including yours, will be limited to sharing links in two organic posts per month.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cSubscribe to Meta Verified to share more links on Facebook, plus get a verified badge and additional benefits to help protect your brand.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>A Meta spokesperson told <em>iGaming Expert<\/em>: \u201cThis is a limited test to understand whether the ability to publish an increased volume of posts with links adds additional value for Meta Verified subscribers.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The company confirmed that the experiment will affect only a limited number of Facebook profiles using Professional Mode and pages, while publishers are currently not part of the trial.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Professional Mode allows users to convert a personal profile into a creator profile, making their posts more discoverable to a wider audience.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This change will directly impact operators posting links from their websites and affiliate programs to reach a broader audience.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>For Meta, the experiment is a way to evaluate whether the Meta Verified subscription can become more attractive.
