Century Entertainment <\/strong>is focusing on developing games specifically for the Asia-Pacific market.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The group is collaborating with PAGCOR-licensed partner, World Platinum Technologies (WPT)<\/strong>, in a deal that will see the Hong Kong-based company set to leverage WPT\u2019s platform, content, and technology to develop gaming apps.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

WPT is accredited by PAGCOR,<\/strong> the Philippines\u2019 gaming regulator, and the move pushes forward the collaboration between the two companies.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In June 2025, the pair formed a joint venture, named Konphil Technology,<\/strong> of which Century holds a 51% share and WPT 49%.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

According to the new operating agreement, WPT will receive 15% of all GGR generated by the ten gaming apps that Century will develop, which is expected to be no more than HK$3m (\u00a3283,743) each financial year.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The group underpinned a focus on a diversified portfolio of mobile gaming applications in a cost-efficient manner, without the need to obtain independent gaming licences and develop core platform technology.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The collaboration emphasised that a revenue-sharing structure aligns the commercial interests of the shareholders of the JV company while allowing the company to participate in the potential growth of online gaming markets in permitted jurisdictions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

No details have been released regarding the countries that the app will target in the Asia-Pacific region. However, the release does confirm that it excludes the Philippines and will depend on being compliant with \u2018applicable laws and regulations\u2019.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Century was formerly known as Amax International Holdings and was primarily associated with junket operations in the Macau casino market. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

However, the company has laid out its ambitions to pivot towards focusing on online gaming systems. The advancement of its agreement with WPT will allow Century to pursue greater \u2018growth opportunities\u2019 throughout the Asia-Pacific region.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
