{"id":12575,"date":"2026-03-24T11:57:37","date_gmt":"2026-03-24T11:57:37","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/sbceurasia.com\/en\/?p=12575"},"modified":"2026-03-24T11:57:42","modified_gmt":"2026-03-24T11:57:42","slug":"dfb-and-sportradar-sign-a-new-long-term-agreement","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/sbceurasia.com\/en\/2026\/03\/24\/dfb-and-sportradar-sign-a-new-long-term-agreement\/","title":{"rendered":"DFB and Sportradar Sign a New Long-Term Agreement"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>Sportstech <strong>Sportradar Group<\/strong> has extended its partnership with the <strong>Deutscher Fussball-Bund (DFB)<\/strong>, securing long-term betting data and streaming rights for the <strong>DFB-Pokal<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The new agreement, starting from the 2026\/27 season, gives Sportradar exclusive rights to distribute betting data and live streams for all DFB-Pokal matches outside the DACH region (Germany, Austria, and Switzerland), along with non-exclusive media data rights worldwide.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>It covers all 63 matches in Germany\u2019s biggest cup competition each season and marks the first direct agreement between Sportradar and the DFB for the DFB-Pokal, following the company\u2019s acquisition of IMG ARENA in 2025.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The addition of the German cup competition strengthens Sportradar\u2019s already extensive football rights portfolio, which includes partnerships with organisations such as <strong>FIFA, UEFA,<\/strong> and <strong>the Bundesliga<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>A key part of the deal, it said, is the introduction of skeletal tracking data for the competition, which allows for more detailed analysis of player movements and supports the creation of new betting markets.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Because of this, operators will be able to offer more live, player-level betting markets, as well as micro markets during matches.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cOur extension of the agreement with DFB is a key addition to our already strong portfolio of global soccer rights,\u201d said <strong>Moritz Gloeckler,<\/strong> EVP Rights and Strategic Projects at Sportradar.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cWith more than five billion soccer fans worldwide, there\u2019s a massive appetite for content.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cThrough partnerships with FIFA, UEFA, AFC, Bundesliga, CONMEBOL and more, Sportradar is well positioned to create the next generation of tech-driven products and services for clients to use to engage fans, reach new audiences and open fresh revenue opportunities.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Sportradar capitalises on German football opportunities<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The deal comes ahead of the conclusion of the German football season and the <strong>2026 World Cup<\/strong> in the summer.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>German football has a long-standing affiliation with the iGaming industry.
