Scientific Games<\/strong> has extended its long-running partnership with the National Lottery of Latvia, Latvijas Loto<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The five-year deal covers scratchcards and game programming, covering both retail and digital channels, with retail products made in Scientific Games\u2019 UK facility.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

A partner of Latvijas Loto since 2002, the deal further establishes Scientific Games as one of the biggest lottery technology companies in Europe, competing against the likes of Brightstar.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cWe have built a long-standing relationship with Scientific Games grounded in integrity and teamwork that has served us well across the years,\u201d said Edgars Ledins,<\/strong> Latvijas Loto Chairman of the Management Board.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cOur players can look forward to more innovative scratchcard games \u2013 and extended play online \u2013 through our new partnership with Scientific Games.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Latvijas Loto and Scientific Games last extended their long-running deal in 2023, signing a 10-year agreement that included the creation of a new central gaming system.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Scientific Games is a provider of games, technologies, analytics, and services to lotteries. It covers digital products, CRM and loyalty programs, mobile and web applications.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The company\u2019s deal with Latvijas Loto marks its first European partnership for some time, with most of its recent activity focusing on North America.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Notable stateside partners signed over the last year include the state lotteries New Mexico, Florida, Delaware, Arkansas and Ohio<\/strong>, plus Loto-Quebec in Canada<\/strong>, though it did sign a deal with a notable non-US partner last year \u2013 Lotto NZ<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cScientific Games is honored to be selected as a trusted partner once again by Latvijas Loto,\u201d said Matthias M\u00fcller,<\/strong> Senior Vice President, International Sales for Scientific Games.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
